The first snow has made its appearance in the Netherlands, and of course I had to make some pictures of it!
Just as our dogs love to go to the beach, they are crazy when it comes to snow. The youngest dog, Maud, had never seen snow before and went mental outside when she discovered something white was covering the paths in her beloved park. Zoë, our other dog, did experienced snow already last year, so she knew what to expect. However, that did not made her less excited to play around with Maud!
We always walk the dogs in the park near our house, so of course we went this morning as well. For the Netherlands this was the first time having snow in the winter of 2016 and 2017. And probably the snow will be gone by tomorrow, but that does not takes away the fact that it felt like a real winter for once.
These days gives you a good excuse to just be cosy on the couch with your family and dogs, drinking hot chocolate and gluhwein, and adding way too much whipped cream to your drinks. I think I will start reading a book again soon, as I promised myself to read more in 2017. I honestly think that is the only resolution I made for myself this year. I think I will take the year as it comes, no idea where it will bring me at the end, but we will see! In 6 weeks already I will be finishing my internship in Amsterdam, and will start with the next step in my graduation process. But for now, I will just enjoy the present, which is me, curled up on the couch with a blanket, writing new posts and reading a book.
